Yes — point your domain's existing nameservers at Shard Cloud instead of a traditional registrar transfer. Your DNS, SSL, and workload connections are then managed from the same dashboard as your apps and VMs, while you keep your original registrar.
You're invoiced automatically ahead of the renewal date. If a renewal invoice goes unpaid, the domain is marked overdue and can eventually expire and be released — renew before then to avoid losing it.
Usually not. Most domains include a first-year discount at registration, then renew at the standard annual rate from year two onward.
Once you point your nameservers, Shard Cloud verifies delegation automatically as DNS propagates. You can also trigger a manual check from the domain dashboard instead of waiting.
Domains you buy directly through Shard Cloud are unlimited. External domains brought from another registrar are capped at 15 per account.
