Mix dependency installation
Shard Cloud fetches dependencies declared in mix.exs during deployment.
Host Phoenix, LiveView, Oban, Nostrum, or another Elixir project from GitHub or ZIP/RAR. Shard Cloud installs Mix dependencies, then runs the entry point or custom command you configure.

Run an Elixir background process with its own start command and use application logs and metrics to monitor it.
Run an Elixir bot as a long-running application process, keeping its token in environment variables and following output in logs.
Fetch Mix dependencies, configure the production command, and operate the Elixir process with persistent storage, domains, logs, metrics, and restart support.

Select a supported Elixir version from the live runtime catalog when creating the application.
Keep Phoenix-generated files and other Elixir application data on the 10 GB persistent disk at /app.
Phoenix and other Elixir web applications receive a free HTTPS address under *.shardweb.app; custom domains require Core or higher.
Use logs with memory and CPU metrics to inspect Mix dependency installation, Phoenix startup, and BEAM process output.
Elixir application processes restart automatically; inspect dashboard logs when a Mix command stops.
Prepare the source files and mix.exs, choose the Elixir runtime and production command, then verify the running process.

BEAM process memory is cleared when the application restarts. Files written under /app persist across restarts; keep restart-safe state there or in a database.
Set VERSION=LATEST for the newest supported Elixir release, or VERSION=recommended for the platform's recommended release. Choose the setting compatible with your project.
